Suggestion to the assassin skill shadowform
I'm not really sure if I post this here or somewhere else but my suggestion is to give shadowform a different avatar such as you become a shadow, kinda like how the dervish uses there avatars.

I said this some time ago. The problem is that most graphics for spells means mroe data to sent either way and some people might not be able to handle it. Furthermore, if you are in shadowform and a warrior attacks you it will take him longer to notice his attacks arn't hitting you than it would to notice your sin was made of shadow.
Therefore shadowform wouldn't be so good in PvP (although it's not really anyway)

So are you simply suggesting that they improve the graphics for when you have Shadow Form on you, or are you suggesting that they also change it to a form?
If your answer is the latter, then that would be a bad idea, since at least when it's an enchantment it can be removed.

I think he means you get a shadowy skin. (like a shadow priest in WoW when they use shadow form). As in your sin goes black all over and translucent.

Neither Shadowform or Mist Form are actual FORMS, they are spells. If they were to become forms, they would be imbalanced, as that way they'd be impossible to remove (now enchant removing attacks CAN remove them) and less vulnerable to Power Drain, Power Block ect.

I think you forgot to read the OP fully, and then didn't notice my post + its response. I don't think the OP is requesting for it to be made a form, just that it be made cooler to have on you.

I did both.
I do not agree with the suggestion because:
It's not a form skill. Just because the name suggests it I don't think they should make a form for when the enchant is on you.
It's maximum duration is 21 seconds + Enchant mods. I don't think designing an avatar thats going to be seen for 25 seconds tops is worth it.
And I mentioned that if it should involve you transforming into an avatar, it would almost have to be a form skill, which would imbalance it.

You do realize that Anarion is making an amazingly valid point with this? Shadowform has been designed with certain skill synergies and counters in mind. (Counters: Chillblains, Well of the Profane, Signet of Disenchantment etc)
(Synergies: Enchant Mods, Deadly Paradox etc)
I wouldn't question Anarion because the arguments are perfectly reasonable that he has put forward and I wholeheartedly agree. He has presented logical and sensible reasons so I cannot understand your reaction to his well meant post...
Avatars/Forms are Dervish exclusive so why would Anet change that? Furthermore it doesn't even really function like an Avatar so I cannot see the motivation for this change to be perfectly honest.

If everyone took that attitude the game wouldn't be fun now would it? Some things aren't done for a reason. They're created as a means of making the game fun to play and as a result keep customers happy.
Yes, this may not be needed, but is there any reason why this should not be added other than personal preference? I cannot see it in any way ruining game mechanics. Though there may not be counters to it at present, Dervish forms come to an end. Shadow form may come to an end quicker but they both still come to an end.
